I currently work with the following ensembles:
Barnes Concert Band, a symphonic wind band based in Barnes, south west London, with a membership of about 40 wind, brass and percussion players.
City of London Symphonic Winds, a group of woodwind and brass players, based in and around London, performing a range of symphonic music as well as some lighter numbers.
London Repertoire Orchestra, a weekly rehearsal orchestra that plays a different piece each week, to build a high standard of sight-reading and musicianship in its members.
I am currently involved in a project to co-found a new orchestra in SE London, to be based in/around Beckenham. (See this post.) This as-yet-unnamed orchestra will launch in April 2012 with an exciting repertoire day – and we are actively seeking members. Please visit the website and get in touch to register your interest.
