I regularly work with the following four ensembles:
Barnes Concert Band, a wind band based in Barnes, south west London, with a membership of about 40 wind, brass and percussion players.
City of London Symphonic Winds, a symphonic wind orchestra, regularly performing a range of contemporary and classic works for the modern wind ensemble in Covent Garden
London Repertoire Orchestra, a weekly rehearsal orchestra that plays a different piece each week, to build a high standard of sight-reading and musicianship in its members.
South East London Orchestra, a new orchestra based in Beckenham that launched in 2012 – new members still being sought in some sections, please visit the website and get in touch to register your interest.
In my time, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many other orchestras around London and the south of England, including:
- 4strings (founding Music Director)
- Brent Symphony Orchestra
- Camden Chamber Orchestra
- City of Southampton Orchestra
- Kingston Philharmonia
- London Phoenix Orchestra
- Northampton Symphony Orchestra
- Petersfield Orchestra
- The Rehearsal Orchestra (Assistant Conductor for two courses)
- Sidcup Symphony Orchestra
- South Bank Symphony Orchestra (now Sinfonia Tamesa)
- Southampton University Symphony Orchestra (Assistant Conductor 2000-01, 2002-03)
- Westminster Philharmonic Orchestra
- Winchester Chamber Orchestra
My affinity with wind orchestras has also led me to work with many bands, including:
- Bacchus Wind Orchestra
- Beenham Wind Orchestra
- Kew Wind Orchestra (Assistant Conductor 2005-09)
- Southampton University Symphonic Wind Orchestra (founding Music Director, 2001-04)
