Brahms, Dvorak, Elgar and Saint-Saens with SELO

Saturday 4 July 2015, 7.30pm

St Barnabas, Beckenham

South East London Orchestra
Natalie Church horn

Brahms: Tragic Overture
Elgar: Serenade for Strings
Saint-Saens: Morceau de concert
Dvorak: Symphony No. 8 in G

In the final concert of SELO’s third season, we say farewell to our co-founder, Natalie Church as she leaves not only the orchestra but also the country to return to her homeland, Australia. How better to say goodbye than to feature our principal horn than by hearing her perform as soloist in Saint-Saens’ highly attractive ‘Concert Piece’ – surrounded by three great favourites of the orchestral repertoire.
